What is the Measuring Sensor of Video Measurement System?

Video measurement system is a high-precision optical measuring instrument based on CCD digital image, computer technology and spatial geometric operation software.

It can quickly and accurately read the displacement value of the optical ruler, analyze the data through computer operation, generate corresponding graphics on the screen, obtain the measurement data, and output the report.

The Video measurement system is suitable for all application fields for the purpose of two-coordinate measurement, and is widely used in machinery, electronics, instruments, hardware, plastics and other industries. (Molds, Screws, Metals, Fittings, Rubber, PCB Boards, Springs)

Chans Vision‘s CNC-Series and GAN-Series vision measurement machine can combine multiple measuring sensors in one machine, including vision sensor, touch probe, laser sensor.

Vision sensor:

The standard sensor of video measurement system is a vision sensor, it is composed of an optical zoom lens with an industrial CCD camera and light source system, it can measure the 2D feature of the sample if the measured feature is under the vision sensor perpendicularly.

Laser sensor:

Because the visible light will penetrate the transparent and semi-transparent material, the reflected vision signal has been weakened to meet the requirement of measuring, so the spectral confocal displacement sensor has been developed to meet the application of 2.5D and 3D glass measurement at the field of a smartphone, monitor, TV, automobile and medical industry.

Touch probe:

The touch probe has been installed on Z-axis, it is perpendicular to the X-Y stage, it can measure height, as well as simple 3D dimensions (plane, cylinder, etc.)

Multisensing provides complete 3D measurement data from a single measuring machine. Vision, touch probes and laser sensor combine for total part characterization, with better accuracy, in a fraction of the time it would take to do on separate measuring systems.
